I have never been the brave girl nor the risk-taking person. Maybe that is why I always read other people’s travel blogs or listen to travelers stories, feeling a bit jealous. Perhaps jealous is the wrong word… it’s more like I envy them for having the guts to do it.
Having the guts to just pack your bag and go.
Not having everything planned out, every penny counted or a back-up plan to ensure that when they return from their adventure, they will still be able to pay the bills.
As you probably understand by now, I am the kind of person who prefers to buy a paper copy (!) travel guide, google and research the destination well in advanced, overload my luggage with “just in case” clothes and wouldn’t be able to go traveling unless I know a job is waiting for me when I get home.
Oh how I wish I had the guts to just buy a plane ticket, bring a backpack and just go. Travel until the money runs out and when I return back home, then deal with reality. Not have everything planned. Just live. Live life and worry about the future later.
So that is what I am going to try to do now, in my own way. I am going to travel as much as I can and explore the places I have dreamed about for so long and not worry too much about my bank account or the future. Be more spontaneous and adventurous.
Explore the world and just see where it takes me. Work but travel as much and as often as I can. Basically, move my butt and wander around and explore the world. There is so much to see and discover outside your own apartment.
Only question is, where to go first? So many places, so much to discover and explore – where shall I begin?
